Oma's Famous Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

1 1/4 Cup of Butter (room temperature)

1 Cup of Sugar

2 Cups of Flour

A Pinch of Baking soda

 

Directions:

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add flour and baking soda.

Mix all ingredients well. Roll dough into a log and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Slice up the log about 1/4 to 1/2 thick. Place them on a cookie sheet and bake at 325 deg. for 15-20 mins.Makes about 3 dozen cookies.

The dough can also be frozen and thawed for later use.
